The Durga Puja is the one of the most famous festival celebrated in West Bengal and particularly in Kolkata , in honor of Goddess Durga during the period of Navaratri. It is celebrated for 10 days, however starting from the sixth day till the ninth day, the Pandals with grand idols of Goddess Durga are open for visitors. The tenth day, also known as Dashami marks the Visarjan (immersion in water) of the idol with grand celebrations and processions. This year, Kolkata Durga Puja 2017 begins on September 25th and goes on till October 4th.
This is to inform you that Kolkata office and its sectors will be working with minimum strength form 25th onwards, due to no entry and Pooja pandals apex and surface will be adversely effected only hold at location deliveries will be done from the warehouses. Further warehouses and service centers will be totally closed from September 27th till 30th September on account of Durga Puja and 2nd October on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
Hence deliveries would be impacted on these dates. We wish to confirm that reverse/Topay pick up will be actioned only till24th September
2017 from East sectors.
Post Dushera best effort will be put in to ensure all the pending shipments during the Pooja holidays are cleared and delivered at the earliest. Hence we request your kind understanding of the fact that there will be delay expected in clearing of shipments.
